Isabelle's First Sunday at Church

Isabelle had her first Sunday at church today. She started out with her first bath after an early morning breakfast. She wore a blue dress Amelia had worn when she was a newborn. "Little girls look good in blue", according to Aunt Janet. Everyone at church was excited to meet Isabelle and welcome our family back.

Outing

Well, we are back home from a day of errands. We braved the odds and took Isabelle out for several hours -- now her 3rd outing and 10 days old. What a day! Isabelle seemed none the wiser and slept for the majority of it. I was able to hit a new consignment shop, Once Upon a Child, that recently moved in the area. Isabelle and Bill were content to camp out in a glider while I shopped. What fun! I realized for the first time I was now shopping for three girls. Overall it was a beautiful day for the first day of Fall. Another reason why I love the month of September.

Here I am the only Florida Gator fan in Bartlett, TN. In my ten years in Tennessee, it has always been my tradition to host the Tennessee\Florida football game. This year however I could not seem to get anyone to come and watch with me. So, I watched it alone with a final score of Florida 30 - Tennessee 6. Furthermore none of my UT friends will return my calls. Odd. I've attached a little TiVo of Tim Tebow for all my Florida fans!

Family of Five - Homecoming

Everyone came home today. Amelia was with Mimi & PawPaw and Ellie was with Aunt Janet... and then Isabelle from the hospital. It felt good to have our girls home and get settled in. We look forward to the next few weeks with Mommy & Daddy home together with our new little girl.

This is day 2 with Isabelle and things have gone smoothly. She has the sweetest demeanor. We are still trying to determine who she favors in appearance. We've had several visitors today to come and greet Isabelle. Tomorrow we hope to return home... now with a family of five.

Welcome to My World

Isabelle Candace arrived today September 12th at 4:18 p.m. She weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz. and 21 inches long. Mama did a GREAT job with a record labor of 6 minutes!! The doctors said, they would write a letter of authenticity of the duration. Isabelle is beautiful!

Going to the Hospital for Isabelle

Well tomorrow early in the morning we will be headed to the hospital to give birth to Isabelle. It has been a long journey & soon we'll be holding her. Ellie & Amelia are staying with MiMi & PawPaw overnight & headed to school in the morning. Afterwards they will join us at the hospital to meet their new baby sister.

Ellie recently got new bedding for her room. She was so excited over this small change that made such a big difference to her bedroom. We will have to continue to add matching pieces.
